Meet Maria Davis

The Voices From the Flag Tour continues and today, we’re traveling to Fort Hood, Texas to meet Maria Davis. Maria is the retired principal of Duncan Elementary School. The Duncan community donated the flag that flew above their school on the day of the Fort Hood Massacre for incorporation into the 9/11 flag. Maria says the event made a deep impression upon the entire Duncan community.  Discover Maria’s story below and follow along at #VoicesFromTheFlagTour to learn more!
