CHASING THE LIGHT STREET TEAM

Thanks for your interest in joining the Chasing the Light Street Team, Chasing the Light, illustrated by Faryn Hughes, releases with Marble Press on October 20, 2026. I’m so glad you’re here!

First, you might be asking, what is a Street Team?

A street team is a group of readers who will help spread the word about an author’s book. You’ll get to read the book before anyone else and help build excitement for newly released titles. As a thank you for your time and commitment, Street Team members will receive fun perks and incentives such as, signed copies of the book, book swag, shoutouts on my platforms, and exclusive access to the Street Team Central Facebook Group where we can chat and interact about everything books and creativity. 

What do Street Team Members Do?

Lots of things! A street team member performs some (or all) of the tasks below:

  • Read the eBook ARC (advanced reader copy) and leave advanced reviews
  • Post and repost pictures and graphics of the book to social media accounts
  • Request library to order new release
  • Recommend to friends and family
  • Attend online appearances like virtual launches and blog tours.
  • Write a review on retail sites such as Amazon once the book releases

And no worries, Amanda will supply you with everything you need for posting about the book and a weekly mission tracker t to keep us organized and on track!

Who Can be a Member of a Street Team?

Any who loves to read and support creators!  You don’t need to have a large social media following or have every type of social media account (although I will be mainly using Facebook and Instagram to promote the book).  What you DO need is a willingness to read the book and shout from the rooftops about it.
